Up until the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship game Kutztown and Newberry College were the only two undefeated teams in Division II field hockey.

The last team standing with a perfect record is Newberry at 18-0.

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association published its final poll of the 2025 Fall season for Division II on Tuesday. Even with Kutztown’s one loss, the Golden Bears ended the regular season ranked No. 1.

The Newberry Wolves earned their first-ever South Atlantic Tournament Championship after their 3-0 victory over Lander. The dub also marked head coach Hannah Dave’s 100th career win.

Despite their double overtime loss to Saint Anselm during the NE10 championship game, Bentley joins the national rankings for the first time this season. The Hawks’ game-winning goal was scored by Maggie Burchill with only 1:43 left.

Shippensburg upset Kutztown 2-1 in the PSAC Championship game. The Raiders are back-to-back conference champions, the first time in program history. The title is the team’s fourth overall.

The eight teams that have clinched a ticket to the NCAA DII Tournament are Newberry, Kutztown, Shippensburg, East Stroudsburg, West Chester, Saint Anselm, Assumption, and Bently. The first round of games begin on November 15th.
