Pro women’s volleyball: leagues, teams, season

MLV and LOVB are starting their pro seasons in January.

As women's sports continue to grow and stabilize, the Pro Volleyball Federation and Major League Volleyball are rebranding in 2026 to form a unified league: Major League Volleyball (MLV).

MLV will compete concurrently with League One Volleyball (LOVB) matches, which began in 2025 featuring six teams.

LOVB began their season schedule January 7 and it runs through mid-April. MLV begins January 8 and runs through early May.

Matches will be aired on the USA Network, ESPN, and streaming platforms.

Dallas Pulse

Grand Rapids Rise

Indy Ignite

Omaha Supernovas

Orlando Valkyries

San Diego

Minnesota (On courts in 2027)

LOVB Teams:

Atlanta

Austin

Houston

Madison

Nebraska

Salt Lake

Los Angeles

Minnesota

San Francisco
