U-21 women’s field hockey players compete this weekend in Charlotte for a spot on the 2026 Junior Pan American Games roster

The three-day training camp runs from March 6-8.

As the 2026 FIH Junior Pan American Championship games near, selected athletes vying for a spot on the roster are traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina for a weekend of camp.

USA Field Hockey will announce the final roster out of a pool of 39 combined eligible high schoolers, first-year college athletes, and experienced returnees after the training ends. The camp runs from March 6-8.

The 2026 Junior Pan American Championship will take place from April 7 to 18 in Santiago, Chile. The teams in the women’s division are Argentina, Canada, Chile, Mexico, United States, and Uruguay.

Top teams from the 2026 JPAC will qualify for the 2027 FIH Hockey Women's Junior World Cup.

“Many are stepping into a new level of speed, physicality, and intensity,” U-21 USWNT head coach Ange Bradley said in a statement. “Our environment will challenge them to take ownership of their development, raise their standards, and accelerate their growth as we prepare to qualify for the 2027 Junior World Cup.” 

After another training camp in May, selected members of the U-21 USWNT will compete in a 4 Nations Tournament from July 7 to 15 in England. Non-traveling members of the U21-USWNT will compete in the Senior Nexus Championship in Virginia Beach, Va.
