2025 NCAA Division III round two field hockey tourney: details, scores, how to watch

The second round of the 2025 NCAA Division II field hockey tournament continues Saturday, Nov. 15.

Amherst College, ranked No. 25, denied No. 10 Stevens field hockey access to the second round of the 2025 NCAA Division III tournament.

The Mammoths defeated the Ducks 2-1 in a seven-round shootout, where goalkeeper Grace Puchaslski was clutch for her team in the first round of the tournament.

Amherst, 9-8, moves on to the second round to compete against Bates.

Head coach Carol Knerr said her Mammoths played with “grit.”

“I give our team a lot of credit,” Knerr said in a statement. We went down and we came back from being behind, and we really built some momentum in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, it didn’t go in, but we held on all the way through overtime, and we were able to make it happen. We did what we needed to do.”
