NCAA Division II field hockey week in review and Friday, Oct. 2 games: teams, times, where to watch

A few NCAA DII field hockey games today, with more this weekend and next week.

NCAA Division II field hockey produced two close midweek results on Wednesday.

The No. 2 Shippensburg Raiders held off Millersville, 3-2, after converting three penalty-corner opportunities; Millersville twice answered and pressed late, but the Raiders improved to 5-1.

Pace delivered the week’s biggest upset so far, handing previously unbeaten No. 6 Bloomsburg its first loss, 1-0, in overtime.

Today’s schedule offers two more tests.

Mansfield visits No. 5 West Chester at 4 p.m., giving the Golden Rams a chance to reinforce their top-five standing against a conference opponent. At 6 p.m., Pace travels to Southern New Hampshire on short rest; after Wednesday’s overtime breakthrough against Bloomsburg, the Setters will try to carry that momentum into a road matchup with the Penmen.

Friday, Oct. 2

4 p.m.

Mansfield at West Chester (Watch Livestream)

6 p.m.

Pace at Southern N.H. (Watch on FloCollege)
