Super Women take gold at the inaugural 2025 National Hockey5s Chocolate Cup

Seven women's teams, along with their dedicated fans, made history by participating in the first 2025 National Hockey5s Chocolate Cup.

The tournament was held July 23-24 at In the Net in Palmyra, Pennsylvania.

The Super Women emerged victorious, securing the gold medal with an undefeated run, winning all five of their scheduled games. They clinched the championship with a 7-5 win over the Solar Bears, who also had an impressive performance with a 4-1 record.

All teams played in a round-robin format, including the Super Women, Solar Bears, Sugar Sticks (who secured third place), RVA Tidewater, Wonder Women, Masters, and Marojoka.

As it was a first of its kind in the United States, players, USA Field Hockey umpires, and spectators were all learning the rules, which features four field players and one goalie.

Despite the hot temperatures, the players brought high energy and a competitive spirit to the event.
