DIII women’s volleyball coaches poll shows changes in the middle, top seven teams stay the same: AVCA
The La Verne women’s volleyball team remain unrelenting in the 2025 Fall season.
They are No. 1 again the week nine Division III poll, according to the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
La Verne currently boasts a 21-0 undefeated record.
Junior outside hitter Abigail Montana is a blocking machine. She has notched more blocks than her teammates overall throughout the last five matches.
East Texas Baptist, at No. 2, is also still undefeated with a 25-0 record.
Junior middle blocker Anita Hancock is holding the top spot on the team in blocks (97) and had a season high of eight blocks during the match against Trinity.
The East Texas Baptist Tigers will play Austin College on October 31.
Then at No. 3 is Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a record of 24-2 and a 11-match winning streak.
Junior middle blocker Lauren Grier has the most blocks (83) on her squad this season. Grier's season high was against Colby College, where she recorded nine blocks.
Coming in at No. 4 is Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a record of 25-2 and a 10-match winning streak.
Senior middle blocker Darienne Andre holds the third-highest block stats on the team with 42.
Finally, at No. 5 is Juniata College with a record of 23-2 and a 13-match winning streak.
Sophomore middle hitter Molly Mishinkash has the top spot in kills (217) and blocks (63). Mishinkash’s season high in kills (14) was against Marietta College, and her season high for blocks (6) was against Franklin and Marshall College.
Juniata will play again on October 31 against Millikin University.
