With the constant changes in college sports, prospective student-athletes likely have many questions about navigating the recruiting process.
The LineUP, a female-led family business, recently hosted its annual field hockey ID Clinic at The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Their second summer Mega Event will be held on July 19 at Fore Kicks III Indoor and Outdoor Sports Complex in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Registration recently ended for the July 19 event. Visit The LineUP’s website for more information about their events.
This clinic offers athletes a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to college field hockey coaches, learn more about the recruiting process, connect with new friends, and enjoy playing the game alongside athletes from across the country.

What do you like about attending The LineUp:
Recruiting can be viewed in two ways: either as an overwhelming, stressful process filled with "what ifs," or as an “organic opportunity” to fully invest yourself, Turner said.
While recruiting can be stressful, it doesn't have to lead to disappointment. Setting fewer expectations can help prevent this, as unmet expectations are often the root of disappointment.
Wake Forest attracts a unique type of student-athlete, one who is naturally drawn to the institution, she said. These individuals often introduce themselves to the coaching staff without extensive searching.
